• Estate Planning - Wills, Medicals Powers of Attorney, Statutory Durable Powers of Attorney for limited purpose of all purposes, effectively immediately or after incapacitated; Directive to Physicians (sometimes called a "living will"); HIPAA Release; Declaration of Guardian for children and adults; Appointment of Agent for handling your embalming or cremation and planning your funeral, memorial service or whatever your wishes are at that special time.
• Guardianship - Sometimes it's necessary to obtain guardianship over the elderly, the incapacitated, children with disabilities that will require assistance in living and managing money.
• Probate - Admitting Will into Probate to obtain Letters Testamentary for the Executor; if there is no Will, applying to the Court for determination of the true heirs, appoint an administrator to distribute the estate to the heirs in accordance with the Estates Code.  Save your loved ones the trouble of the intestate probate by obtaining a Will.  In the meantime, at least write out a holographic Will.
